9th Annual ASPO conference

The conference organising committee welcomes Paul Hohnen, one of the world's leading moderators of high level sustainability events, to faciltate the three day  ASPO 9 conference. Paul Hohnen

Amsterdam-based Paul Hohnen is an international expert on sustainable development. In a 35 year career, Paul has worked as a diplomat, political director of Greenpeace International, Strategic Director of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and since 2004 as an independent consultant to business, governments and United Nations bodies on sustainability issues. Paul has been closely associated with the development and use of many of the leading global sustainability standards and is currently advising the UN Environment Programme in its Green Economy preparations for the 2012 UN Conference on Sustainable Development. Paul has chaired a wide range of international meetings on environmental and energy issues, including for UN organisations, the EU, Chatham House (of which he is an Associate Fellow), the IEA, and the Club of Rome.
