9th Annual ASPO conference

The registration of the May 3rd European Parliament conference has opened. This special event is organized by the Greens/European Free Alliance group in the European Parliament , in collaboration with ASPO Belgium and Peakoil Nederland, which will take place on May 3rd 2011 in the EU Parliament building in Brussels, Belgium.  It is possible to register via a link at the registration page. The meeting is public and can be attended free of  charge.

The one-day event will address two topics:

A) Peak Oil Evidence and Peak OIl Activities in Different EU Member States, and

B) The EU and Peak Oil - Analyses and Policy Measures.

Confirmed speakers include Lord Ron Oxburgh, House of Lords UK Parliament and former Chairman of Shell, Michel Lebrun, Vice-President of the Belgian Walloon Parliament, Kjell Aleklett, President of ASPO, and Claude Turmes, MEP and Vice-Chair of the Greens/European Free Alliance.
